WTF?!

So last night as I'm driving home around midnight I watched a gas station roll its price from 97.9/L to 119.6/L.

HOW THE FUCK DOES GAS JUMP ALMOST 22 CENTS OVER-NIGHT? It's not like they just got a tanker truck of expensive gas either, it's the same shit they were selling for 90.9/L earlier this week!

Fucking gas companies... I say it's time for an en masse gas-n-dash! All you blog readers with a car gimme a call, we'll get a half dozen or more cars together, fill them all up, then scatter in every direction! DOWN WITH THE CORPORATE GAS PIMPS!!!

...I need meds.

Quickie.

Yeah, so there's a move coming over the next week. Also, today was my last day at work. Laid off. This week's going to be insane.

Wish me well.

When I settle in and get back online, I'll be sure to post a whack of pictures I've been sitting on here. Some strange shit's happened since that picture of Ellen all smashed up was posted, and I've got pictures of some of it.

Anyway, take care all, hope to make it back within a week or two.

Whooo!

Okay, assuming the counter here works, this might just be my 200th blog post. If that's the case, I'm not going to waste it on negative stuff.

Teggy's all fixed up, four speakers replaced (I blew the remaining three), and it's all back together again and fun to drive. I hope it stays that way for a while.

So yeah.

Shout out to all my peeps.

...okay, this really fucking blows for a 200th post. Uhm... Oh! I know!

*FANFARE!*

Okay, I'm done.

Integra Update

So it's the clutch. Seems like the synchronizing gears and other more expensive pieces are alright.

Phew.

So then, that leaves a few other issues... The car really runs rough when the A/C is on and the car is idling. Seems as though it's just bogging down. When the air conditioning turns on in a car, it's supposed to increase the engine's idle speed a bit so it doesn't bog down. My car didn't get that memo.

That should be uber minor.

I still have to replace the blown speaker in the door. I don't know if I mentioned this earlier or not, but I've ripped apart most of the dashboard and driver's side door to replace the old stereo with the one I pulled out of Ellen. That gives me a CD player. CDs are the next big thing, I think. I believe they're here to stay. The door's apart so I can replace a blown speaker there that buzzed and rattled when I turned the music up a bit.

So... while I'm at it, might as well upgrade all the speakers. That should take care of all the planned upgrades. Make it sound good, and just deal with the rest.

Then there's a bit of a thunking when I accelerate while making a left turn. CV joints, I think. They're a pivot point in the piece that connects the transmission to the wheel. I'll go after the used car dealer for that one. Shouldn't be a big deal.

...and that should be it. Lucy gave me an Evil Eye from her trip to Greece to hang from my rear-view mirror to prevent further issues with the car, so I'm in the clear now.

Thanks Lucy.

I'll call you first when my car breaks down next. Even before the tow truck operator.

I'm sleepy. Good night.
